First impression

Inside the packaging there’s a user manual, two pods, and the device. There is no Type-C charging cable with this package. The pod holds 2.5 ml of e-liquid with stats on the bottom saying 0.7ohm, rated 16 to 19 watts. The fill port is right on the side, little arrow with a groove so we know that’s where lift it from. Stick a finger in, pop open the plug, and that’s fill it through the hole.

Geekvape claims with the pod that it’s not going to leak on you. I think if I’m not mistaken, there are like five different layers in this system, so they’re calling it a leak-proof pod. The same thing goes with another coil at the bottom saying 1.4 ohm, rated 8 to 10 watt pod.

Getting started

The pod itself is not a replaceable coil pod; it’s a whole throwaway pod. After filling it up, let it sit for a good five minutes to make sure that coil inside there fully saturates. The pop it in the device. It’ll make a nice clicking sound when you put it in place.

There’s a nice design going on the fire button. You can have a little light indicator on the side. There are two airflow holes where your airflow gets in and a nice-looking mouthpiece with slim design. On the bottom is the Type-C charge port. It is rubberized around, calling it almost like a shock-proof device. 1,000 milliamp-hour battery built-in on this. Impressive Wenax and Geekvape branding on both sides.

Five clicks on, five off, to power the device on and off. You also have wattage control. There’s gonna be three different levels. White is low, blue is medium, and green is going to be high for strength. After turning on the device, it shows you an indicator. 3 clicks to get the light changed.

Comparing the Wenax K1 SE and the Wenax H1. They’re about the same height. The Wenax H1 is just a little thicker in thickness. 

Performance

First, let’s start with the negatives. One obvious con is the lack of a Type-C charger. While this is likely a cost-saving measure, it would be more user-friendly to include it since not everyone may already have one. Additionally, the rubber plug for the refill port may be a personal preference, but some users may have preferred a top-fill design. Moving on to the positives, the leak-proof system is a definite pro, as is the perfect MTL hit from the airflow. The mouthpiece is also aesthetically pleasing, and the option to switch between button and auto draw is a nice feature. Having adjustable wattage levels and the inclusion of two Type-C pods are also pros, as well as the thoughtful addition of a rubber bottom to protect against drops. This pod is great for MTL vaping and high nicotine fixes, and is a nice addition to the recent crop of good pods on the market. The flavor is good, as one would expect from a pod, but it may not be as exceptional as a direct lung hit from an RTA, sub-ohm tank, or RDA.
