Package

Inside the packaging for the GoTek S, you’ll get a user manual and a Type-C charging cable. You will get the same thing in the GoTek X – user manual, Type-C charging cable, and a pod that comes in the kit. It has a 0.8 resistance and mesh coils. On the side, there’s a spot where you can pull up and fill eliquid through it. It is a throwaway pod, not a replaceable coil. The kits only come with the 0.8 resistance pod and they are both the same pods, which hold 4.5 mL of e-liquid.

Size

When it comes to size difference between GoTek X and the GoTek S, the Gotek X looks a little bit bigger. But they both have the same capacity battery – 650mAh. On the bottom of the Gotek X there’s a Type-C charge port and the airflow controller. On the bottom of the GoTek S there’s also a Type-C charge port and an airflow controller. So they basically made two different ones. They both do the same exact thing. They both take the same pods. Differences are obviously that the GoTek X is just a little bigger in size, and you do have a lanyard strap on the side. On the GoTek S you do have an area for a lanyard at top. Now these do not come with lanyards.

Pods

Grab the Gotek X pod, push it down, and it makes its connection, and for the GoTek S, it’s almost the same thing, just it is more not of a clip, it’s more magnetic the way it pulls it on.

Colors

Both GoTek X and GoTek S come in a bunch of different colors. When it comes to the GoTek X, they do have transparent blue, which looks pretty nice, transparent black, and the fully transparent. And then for the GoTek S, black, white and the blue.

Performance

To test the airflow control I have it fully open right now or fully shut down. I tried to see if we could do like a restrictive direct long hit. So I went fully open, 12 milligram. I feel like coughing, but I wasn’t go off. So you could do a restrictive direct lung with this. Tighten down the airflow to go about halfway. That’s where I like to use it, halfway, MTL. And I think this should be fully shut down. But it’s too tight, you can’t really vape it that way. When it’s fully off, this is where you’re just gonna move it just a tad. That’s where you could do a tight MTL. So, you could do restrictive direct lung, regular MTL, and a tight MTL with this. Pretty good.

Basically, with both of these devices, these are strictly Auto draw devices. There are no fire buttons or anything on them. I still don’t get it why you would make two different sizes. If anything, okay, this would have came only with one pod, but maybe the bigger one should have came with two pods. I don’t get it.

All in all, they vape pretty good actually. You’re gonna get some good flavor. The restrictive direct lung from it is great and you could tune it down to the way you want it Loose MTL or a tighter MTL.
