First Impression

It’s not just a case of normal packaging, it comes in a little armor case. It’s the finished work that I was really impressed with because they’ve went for the aged look, that’s basically what they’ve done. They’ve gone for the Aged look with the finishing on this, and it looks as if it’s a bit of old technology that’s been found laying around on the ground that you decided to pick up and repurpose into our pod. I’ve been trying this out with the older ones, which are basically the same as this, and yeah, it reacts just the same as the Caliburn would react. But on this, because it’s this variant of the Caliburn, you do of course have this very rudimentary airflow control to loosen up or tighten up your mouth-to-long draw. The coil does pop in and out via the base, and filling this thing up is very simple. When the pod’s popped in, give the mouthpiece a rock back and forth, and eventually that pops open. The outer shell is some kind of zinc alloy, with a little bit of aluminum mixed in there for the detail work. Because this is way too heavy to be just an aluminum chassis. We have seen something like this before with the Uwell Sculptor, with the very detailed die-cast work they’ve done with the body, but it’s never really been done for the Caliburn range to this extent. USB-C charge port locates at the bottom. I am liking this. This kind of idea does have some benefits. And one of those benefits is the fact that this thing is not made of plastic. It’s not made of light aluminum like all the other Cali bonds are made from. It’s made of a very solid, probably half zinc alloy chassis, with aluminum mixed in with the chassis as well to try and keep the vape weight down. I think it looks phenomenal. I really think this looks phenomenal.

Performance

There’s that Caliburn flavor, that nice sharpness to the fruits. It’s that kind of flavor you would expect from a Caliburn. It’s using the airflow replaceable coil version of the Caliburn pods that came out about halfway through this year. But at its heart, it’s another pod kit. If you’ve got a vaping friend who generally vapes on these things, pod kits, and you’re stuck for ideas for a stocking filler Christmas present, I mean, the looks alone is worth it. Of course, you’re going to be paying that a little bit extra money because unlike the normal Caliburn, which is made very quick and is made of light aluminum, this is a little bit heavier, has got a little bit more design work. So you’re going to be paying that little bit extra because of the design work on the Caliburn Tenet. But it’s a damn good looking boy, it’s a damn good looking pod kit. And the way I’m looking at this is, if the friend that you’ve got is a truck driver or they are a cab driver and they’re constantly dropping their pods and their pods are constantly breaking, and some of these plastic base pods have got a nasty tendency of braking if they have a big fall, this, if you drop it, it’s not going to notice. It’s honestly not going to notice any dings or scratches. It’s all scratched up anyway because it’s been pre-aged when they sold it, when they designed the thing. And it’s gorgeous, it’s not quite steampunk. It’s more of a kind of industrial look with shades of Steampunk through an end. It’s not full Steampunk. It’s more industrial. That’s what it’s like! It’s much more industrial-looking with a hint of steampunk thrown in with the accents, but yeah, I’m thoroughly enjoying this. I know it’s just another Caliburn, but it’s the design. It’s something different from the usual Caliburns that have been getting released again and again and again all the way through this year.

Conclusion

The Uwell Caliburn Tenet Pod Kit is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish vape kit. Its impressive performance and ease of use make it a great option for both beginners and experienced vapers alike. While there are certainly other pod kits available that offer similar features and functionality, the Caliburn Tenet’s unique design and attention to detail make it a standout option that’s well worth considering.
